German Bible Box w/Key
Beautifully carved oak
Chester County Bible box, early strap hinges (may have
been on outside rear at one time), hand wrought escutcheon
and hasp, molded base, fitted lid. Punch-carved decorative
border to lid. Working key. Very good condition, repair to
left rear lid. Great dark patina.
