Two Maine Pantry Boxes 19thC.,
From a Western Maine farmhouse, these two boxes have always been
together. Wood peg construction, original dry early gray-green paint.
Smaller box is 7 1/4 x 3"; larger box is 8 x 4". Larger box has a split
at bottom (shown); smaller box with 2 small chips to lid (shown). Good
honest Maine boxes showing years of usage.
