Maine Blue Painted Basket ,
Wonderful early dry robin's egg blue painted Maine basket. Thick
splint handle, strong weavers, slight cant to sides, made with
additional splint support to bottom. Some losses to rim wrap and
weavers, some paint loss especially to the lower 1/3 of basket. Good
wear, fabulous color. Found in coastal Maine.
Measurement: 18 L x 12.5 W x 14.5 H (including handle).
