c.1840's NH Tiger Maple Paint

Mid 19thC. document box with unusual tiger maple paint decoration. All
original, dovetailed pine case, original hardware. Wonderful paint in
mustard striping on off-white ground. Interior lined with early New
England newspaper, appears to be Concord (New Hampshire), 1840's. From
long-time Maine collection. Very good condition, minor rub to corners;
circular (water?) stain to lid. l
