19thC. American Chalkware Poodle
Dog, Probably Pennsylvania Dutch, handmade
from a mold, patterned after Staffordshire figures, hand painted, naive
and primitive workmanship gives it a quaint charm. Condition is very
good, small flat chip to rear of base, no hairlines or repairs. Paint
wear, aged patina. Very good example.
Measurement: 6.5 L x 7 H x 3 W.
