Maine Paint-Decorated Blanket Box,   A wonderful paint-decorated blanket box found in Maine. Whimsical black paint on oxblood red ground - a typical Maine paint decoration of the 19th century. Box is in very good condition - interior lined with wallpaper long ago, missing hasp.
